The principal train station in Edinburgh is the Waverley Station. It is one of four main stations in the city and is situated below the Waverley Bridge.
Waverley Station is connected to Edinburgh Airport by tram and train services.
Travel time between London and Edinburgh is roughly 4.5 hours.
The other three stations are:
1. Edinburgh Gateway Station - This station is located in Gogar, Edinburgh, and provides connections to Fife, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness, and northern Scotland.
2. Edinburgh Park Station - This station is located in South Gyle, Edinburgh and provides connections to Glasgow, Falkirk, Stirling, Dunblane and central Scotland.
3. Haymarket Station: This station is located in Haymarket, Edinburgh and provides connections to Glasgow, Fife, Inverness, Aberdeen, North Berwick, London and southern England.
All three of these stations are connected to the Edinburgh Airport by tram.
